Tip Title: Error 0xc0000142 opening 2015 products
Product: AutoCAD 2015 (+verticals), Inventor 2015, Revit 2015, 3DS Max Design 2015, NavisWorks 2015

Issue:
When opening a 2015 Autodesk product an error code 0xc0000142 appears and the program fails to open.
Solution:
There are several ways to fix this issue depending on the security permissions the user has.
Set the registry key:
Open up the Registry Editor and set the value for the following to 0 :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs
After changing the value to 0, hit the F5 key to Refresh the view.
If the value remains 0 the fix should work.
If it resets to 1 you can try to rename this key and recreate the LoadAppInit_DLLs key and set it to 0.
After hitting F5 again if the value resets to 1 again you will need to see the solutions below.
Using Autoruns for Windows
You will need to Download the Windows Sysinternals Tool – Autoruns for Windows

Download and Extract the ZIP file and run the Autoruns.exe file. Switch to the AppInit tab as shown below.
In here unsigned or digitally no longer valid DLL files will be listed.
You will need to rename a DLL then reopen the product one by one to find which DLL is affecting the program.
Known problem DLL’s are :
acaptuser.dll (Adobe)
SPVC32Loader.dll (Search Protect)
nvinitx.dll (NVidia)
